At Bizpro, we understand and share our customers' concerns about how personal information is collected, used and shared. We want to assure you that this subject is of the utmost importance and we will always handle your personal information securely and carefully. Reasons for collecting information
Bizpro may collect information to deliver products or services to you, to complete other transactions with you or on your behalf and/or to better understand your requirements and preferences. We also use your personal information to keep you up to date on the latest product announcements, software updates, special offers and other information that are of greater interest or benefit to you. This may occasionally include information from other third party companies about products and services that can add value to the products purchased from Bizpro.
You will always know what information is being collected, and will have the option to choose how Bizpro utilises your information to communicate with you. We will only collect information by lawful and fair means and not in an intrusive way.
Aggregated data that contains no information specific to a particular person or business may be shared with our business partners, for example, aggregated statistical trend in a particular industry sector.
How we use your information
Bizpro uses the information you supply in many ways necessary for us to do business together: product promotion, order fulfillment, product registration and demonstrations, and customer support.
Product promotion
Bizpro needs to be able to contact you about product upgrades and new product releases and to inform you of new services relevant to your business, including special offers (you may, however, notify us at any time that you do not want to receive any marketing communications from Bizpro)
Order fulfillment
When ordering products and services, you must provide contact information (such as name and delivery address) and financial information (such as credit-card number and expiration date if you are using this payment method). Bizpro uses this information to fulfill your order and bill you. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is also used to get in touch with you to resolve the problem.
Product registration
Bizpro may use your personal and business details to register products on your behalf with other companies and with us directly. Registration ensures that only you - and no unauthorised persons - receive upgrades and special offers. In most cases products can only be used when registered correctly and it is in these cases that we will register the products for you.
Customer support
Bizpro will store information about your systems that can assist us in supporting you. This information may include: Software serial numbers, Hardware serial numbers, brands and models, software settings and preferences, etc.
In some cases we will request/keep copies of your company databases to allow us to test issues on your data and improve our support. Please see the section on “Collection and use of Customer Databases” for more information.
Remote Access
The setup of remote access software on a clients system allows Bizpro staff to remotely access and “take over” the PC system for support and maintenance purposes. It is important to note that this software will give Bizpro staff full access to all information stored on the system, however the following rules apply to the way our staff will use this technology:
- The remote access will only be used with the explicit permission of the designated client contact (i.e. owner / manager) and such permission will only be valid for 24 hours.
- Remote access will only be used for a specific purpose as requested by the client and no other areas of the system will be accessed unless required to complete the said task.
- Remote access software uses secure encryption of data similar to online banking or other secure web sites. The software is provided by a third party and as such Bizpro will not be held responsible for any breaches of security, however we will notify you (to the best of our ability) if there are any known issues with the security or if we have any reason to believe that there has been a breach. Furthermore the security is only effective if the password is kept secure. At no time should the logon username or password be given out to any third parties unless approved specifically by the store owner and with the understanding that doing so will give that person full access to the PC from a remote location.

Disclosure of your personal information
Bizpro may occasionally share your personal contact information with carefully selected partner companies, to keep you informed about related products and services. For example, when new software is released, we may work with the developer to ensure that you're aware of the latest software available for your Bizpro products.
At times we may be required by law or legal process to disclose your personal information.
Collection and use of Customer Databases
From time to time we may obtain information from our customers for various reasons: Demonstrations, Training, System setups, etc. This information may include customer records, stock information including costs, supplier information, staff details and more.
This information is kept strictly confidential and will only be used for the intended purposes. Where the information is to be used for any purpose other than the intended Bizpro will gain permission from the customer first.
Any customer information stored by Bizpro will be protected by the same level of security as our own information and should any breach of this security be detected we will make every effort to notify our customers where reasonably possible.
Correction of problems
If you have any questions or you believe that Bizpro has not adhered to this Privacy Statement, please contact the Privacy Officer in your local Bizpro office. We will then use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine if there is a problem and take the necessary corrective action.

Our company commitment to privacy
We are committed to safeguarding your information; this means that, among other things, we will comply with all applicable Australian privacy laws and make our staff aware of their obligations.
The Bizpro website contains links to other sites. Bizpro does not share your personal information with those websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy policies of those companies.
If we are going to use your personal information differently from that stated at the time of collection, we will try to contact you via email using the most recent information we have.
