Fast sales processing

 

Processing sales are a breeze and take just a few seconds with MYOB RetailManager. The sales screen options can be customised to suit your needs:

  • Customise the payment types and change the order that they appear. This makes it easy to access the more commonly used payment types in your business
  • Skip fields to reduce key strokes and speed up the processing of sales.
  • Hide or lock fields you don’t want your staff to access
  • Apply discounts to individual line items on a sale or across the sale as a whole
  • Easily and quickly view tax and profit information relating to the sale

RetailManager handles discounts, credit notes, gift vouchers, returns, quotes, sales orders and customer special orders.



Complete inventory management

 

RetailManager allows you to classify your stock into Departments and up to 3 user-defined categories. For example the Department may be Menswear and the 3 categories may be Style, Colour and Size. This makes stock replenishment and re-ordering a breeze.

Run stocktakes on single items, particular departments/ categories, or on all items in your store. You can print stock sheets to help speed up the process and also generate a discrepancy report once the stocktake is complete to view any shortages.

Print your own barcode labels to place on stock items and produce packing slips that your warehouse can use as checklists.

Set up low stock level warnings and automatically create purchase orders for stock that has fallen below its minimum quantity.

Configure stock ‘kits’ that allow you to create one master item which includes a number of other items as components. Great for tobacconists and liquor stores who buy in cartons and sell in smaller quantities.

MYOB RetailManager includes over 70 comprehensive reports. Below is a list of just some of the powerful reports available to you.

  • Stock – What’s in Stock, Serial Numbers in Stock, Stock Movement, Prices by Grade
  • Sales - daily or monthly, by customer or period
  • Profit - by category, product, custom fields, supplier and discounting
  • GST - cash or accrual, goods received by tax code and sales by tax code
  • Suppliers - indent order, net purchases, what needs ordering and what's on order
  • Customers - aged debtors, credit notes outstanding, customer list, customer mailing labels, purchase statements, customer survey, debtors report, lay-by, who's buying, lay-by debtors, customer payments and a customer price list
  • Staff - detailed sales and commission daily, weekly, monthly

EFTPOS integration

 

MYOB RetailManager allows you to connect EFTPOS terminals to your computer, reducing the number of keystrokes needed to process a sale and reducing the possibility of a staff member keying in an incorrect amount.

You can record sales using multiple tender types, such as taking part payment by cash and recording the remainder on EFTPOS or credit card. RetailManager also allows you to offer ‘cash out’ to clients making purchases.

  • Barcode scanners - USB, Keyboard Wedge or Serial
  • A4 laser printers for printing reports and bar code labels
  • Docket printers - minimum 40 columns. *
  • Electronic cash drawers
  • Customer pole displays. *

Powerful customer marketing tools

 

Target your customers with special offers, promotions and newsletters. Use these tools to build relationships and encourage your customers to shop with you more often.

You can select customers through various filters including stock items that they have purchased, their geographical location, their first or last purchase date, the amount of money that have spent in your store or the individual number of sales transactions.

Once these filters are created, you can easily and quickly email the selected customers or print mailing labels if you plan to send them direct mail.
